New branch, new adventure!
99 REALLY lucky cadets branched ARMOR… and my stud of a boyfriend was one of them. I could not be more proud of him and we are so excited to start our next adventure together. West Point has been my security blanket for the past 4 years but I know we can get through whatever else the Army throws at us. I can’t believe in a short 6 months my best friend will become a 2LT and we will be on our way to our first stop… GEORGIA.
After that we will move on to another post, I’m pushing for warm weather… TEXAS please. So many things to look forward to in the coming months, I really am going to miss this place when we leave.
Going to have to get used to the saying… Home is where the Army sends us <3

While sitting here trying to decide what to write for my first post, someone uploaded a picture on Facebook of how my boyfriend spent his Saturday. Even though I knew what he was up to today, seeing it in a photo made me realize how much different our lives truly are. Me, I spent my day hunting for witches in Salem… well basically just taking pictures of the crazy people, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Going back to where it all began, our relationship has always been this way. Jonathan doing his GI Joe thing and me living the “college dream”, with several miles separating the two of us we have made it work. But after these 5 years I’m tired of just ‘making it work’ and I can’t help but dream of the future. I am in love with the most caring and selfless man I have ever met and I could not be more proud of him for all he has accomplished. It will only be 224 days before we can begin a life as a ‘normal’ couple and I cannot wait to be by his side every day supporting him with all I have. ♥
